Just watched Season 9 Episode 12. I cried tears of joy and hooted and hollered at the moment we’ve all been waiting for. This series is the very best ever! The writing is incredible. The acting is superb. Every bit of the production is the best. All the actors are Oscar worthy, but for me Erin Krakow is beyond talented. She lights up the screen and makes me swoon in every shot. Her smile. Her everything. I used to like Lucas but every time he gets to kiss Elizabeth I am so jealous of him. What a lucky guy!
I love the series. It is beautifully photographed and written and the cast is well chosen, well matched, and act out their parts so expressively, with such feeling for humour, love and sorrow.
From snippets of information, I believe that series 1 was set in 1910 and therefore Series 9 should be set in 1918 But then time is very flexible in Hope Valley.
Even so, this time period covers the biggest, most disruptive, disastrous and tragic event that the world had experienced up to that time. Not surprising then that the happenings were well discussed at the time in every community of every country. The event was The First World War.
Is Hope Valley set on a different planet ? Or in a parallel Universe?

Am I able to purchase Season 7 & 8 from you please and at what price. I am in Australia. Also, my season #6 only has 5 discs in it and I am wondering should there have been a sixth disc.
