Welcome to the website for the Hearties, devoted fans of the Hallmark Channel original series When Calls the Heart, inspired by the Canadian West book series from Janette Oke and directed by Michael Landon, Jr. and Brian Bird. An uplifting period drama set against the backdrop of a coal mining town in 1910, When Calls The Heart stars Erin Krakow (Elizabeth Thatcher), Daniel Lissing (Constable Jack Thornton), Lori Loughlin (Abigail Stanton), and a stellar supporting cast. Left a message on Hallmark’s Facebook page this morning, want to keep reminding them that we’re waiting for announcement if S2! At least ep 3-4 are being released on DVD April 22 and those are the episodes I watched first! I haven’t seen them since!
